Read Bio

DeokSeok is a Senior Global Technical Consultant at Ecolab, specializing in contamination control. He has about 20 years of experience in Quality and MSAT, mostly aseptic area and project management. Previously served as Head of QA & Manager of MSAT at Johnson & Johnson, leading quality oversight, inspection readiness and new product introduction. His expertise includes FDA readiness, EU GMP Annex 1 implementation, contamination control strategy (CCS), aseptic process simulation (APS), cleaning / disinfection / sterilization validation, and barrier technologies with a risk-based QRM approach.
Before joining J&J, DeokSeok had a significant role in an overseas project, which was a pharmaceutical plant construction, in West Africa. Prior to that, he was a leader of QA Validation/Compliance in Hanmi. He had diverse project experiences including plant construction project (cephalosporin) & new-line project (powder injection) and diverse inspection experience including Korean (MFDS) & UK (MHRA). DeokSeok holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Seoul National University. DeokSeok is a member of local & global communities and involved in many pharmaceutical training programs (K-NIBRT, KPBMA, KIPHA, and GBC SNU Biopharm training center) on Annex 1 & Contamination Control Strategy.
