Marcia is an accomplished leader with over 25 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing Quality. As the Vice President of Quality, Enterprise GxP Compliance & Systems at Emergent BioSolutions, Marcia oversees GxP compliance and global quality systems across the organization. Her career includes diverse roles within quality control and assurance, strongly emphasizing sterility assurance. Marcia has supported global manufacturing operations for small and large molecules, biologics and vaccines, with expertise in vials, cartridges and pre-filled syringes, working in traditional aseptic, RABS and Isolator environments for both BSL 2 and BSL 3 operations. She is a Microbiologist with a degree from the University of Toronto and an MBA from Purdue University.
