Michael Herd, MEng Senior Engineering Consultant, Team Consulting

Michael Herd is a Senior Engineering Consultant at Team Consulting where he has led the engineering activities on a range of medical device projects, covering the drug delivery, surgical and medical technology sectors. He is a technical project leader, who specializes in the development and optimization of mechanical systems, through a combination of creative problem solving, math modelling and physical testing.  He has a particular interest in understanding the effects of variation within a system, to ensure that robust and reliable engineering solutions can be delivered to clients. Michael has a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow and is a certified Six Sigma black belt.
