RJ Doornbos Amgen

RJ Doornbos is currently VP, Quality Operating Systems and Services at Amgen, Inc. In this role, she is responsible for design, implementation and continuous improvement of the Amgen GxP Quality Management System supporting the full product lifecycle. In addition, RJ has oversight for our corporate compliance functions supporting our internal and external operations network. As part of her career journey, RJ has over thirty combined years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and generics industry. She has a diverse background of various roles in R&D, Quality Operations and QMS/Compliance working at a range of companies including Schering-Plough, Merck, Teva, and Bristol Myers Squibb. In these roles, she has led the development and implementation of small and large scale change. These changes encompassed included compliance-oriented improvement, process and digital enablement, as well as capability and quality culture refinement associated with advancing maturity of our integrated QMS across GxP to accelerate the development and supply of medicines to patients globally.
