Julia Marre, PhD is an Associate Director of Scientific and Regulatory Affairs at Pocket Naloxone Corp. where she manages the product quality microbiology of novel drug/device combination products and leads the authoring of CMC documents for submission to regulatory authorities. Dr. Marre is an expert product quality microbiologist with senior-level experience at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER). Dr. Marre is an expert in reviewing the sterility assurance, the process, and the facilities of a pharmaceutical manufacturing process for sterile and non-sterile liquid drug products. While at the FDA, Dr. Marre was an editor of a review guide on product quality microbiology considerations of non-sterile liquid drug products. Dr. Marre earned a PhD in Cell Biology from the University of Maryland, College Park.
