Abe Germansderfer Novartis Pharma AG

Abe Germansderfer has more than 15 years of experience in applied statistics, quality and biotechnology manufacturing processes. In his various roles, he has been responsible for leading groups that delivered statistical support and business processes throughout the product commercialization life cycle, including support of validation activities though implementation of design of experiment and statistical process control concepts. Abe also served as a technical expert in areas of analytical method and product transfer, qualification of new instruments and analytical methods, as well stability, process and product comparability studies.  Prior to his role at Novartis, Abe had roles of increasing responsibility with Gilead Sciences, Amgen, and Genzyme. Abe holds a M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Worchester Polytechnic Institute, Massachusetts, USA.
