Amber Overgard MSDS Merck KGaA

Amber Overgard is a bioinformatician in the Omics and Machine Learning R&D department at Merck and has been with the company for 10 years. Her experience includes molecular assay development, validation, and GxP assay data analysis. She has contributed to the successful launch of over 30 molecular assays for a wide variety of stakeholders. Currently, she evaluates complex bioinformatics algorithms, and develops and validates new computational pipelines for various biosafety testing purposes. Amber holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biochemistry, and a Master of Science in Data Science (MSDS) in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology.
