Anne McKenna, MSc Takeda

Anne McKenna is the Head of Investigation Management for Global Quality at Takeda and joined Takeda in 2018.

In her current role, Anne provides leadership & direction to ensure all sites across the Takeda network, not only understand Takeda’s expectations for robust, comprehensive investigation, but also have the capabilities to reach these expectations. Anne’s mantra is to lead by partnering directly with the sites through active collaboration, engagement, and empowerment.

Anne has spent over 23 years in the Biopharmaceutical/Pharmaceutical Industry holding various Quality leadership positions having worked at BMS, Pfizer  and Novartis. She has diverse and in-depth experience in leadership, management, quality management, regulatory compliance, quality assurance and inspection support.

Anne holds a Bachelor of Science Degree, a MSc in Industrial Pharmaceutical Quality and MSc in Quality Assurance. She is also a Qualified Person spending many years releasing key biologic products. Topics close to her heart are disposition, change control, investigations, quality risk management and regulatory compliance.

When she is not building investigation capabilities at work, Anne enjoys spending time with her family, working on house projects, spending time on the family farm and, when the weather allows, taking her reluctant preteens on the odd hike or camping trip.
