Annie Rietveld, PhD former Dutch Health Care Inspectorate, IGZ

Dr. Rietveld acts as a specialist/ senior inspector in the area of ATMPs and biotech products. From 2001 until now she has been with the Inspectorate and has held positions as senior inspector GMP, supervisor GMP and GCP, programme manager product safety and head of Academy, respectively.

Since Sept. 2012, she has been working full time as coordinating/ specialised senior GMP inspector at the Dutch Health Care Inspectorate.

From 1987 to 2001, she worked as production manager, Director Quality Assurance and Qualified person in two different pharmaceutical biotech companies in the Netherlands. In 1995, she obtained the QP nomination through the UK system. Mrs. Rietveld obtained a PhD degree in Biochemistry at the University of Utrecht and held different positions at the university, in education and in hospital laboratories.
