Chris Folta, Ms Janssen J&J

Chris Folta has almost 30 years of extensive working experience designing and developing over-the-counter and pharmaceutical packaging. He holds a patent for the first all-plastic seal.

His early work included commercialization of a unique compliance counting cap and design and commercialization of the first low-temperature parenteral seal. He has designed over 20 blister packs and lead cross-functional teams responsible for the movement and startup of blister lines.

For the last four years, he has been researching and developing cryogenic packaging.

Chris graduated from RIT with a BS in Packaging Science and Pennsylvania State University with a Master of Engineering in Industrial Engineering. His thesis was on improving experimental designs by adjusting the design center points.
