Christopher Watts, PhD VolPal

Chris Watts is the Founding Partner of VolPal, a company with global capabilities specializing in the development and implementation of quality and compliance programs for the FDA regulated industry.

Before founding VolPal, Chris was a Partner in the Consulting Group of NNE Pharmaplan, leading the company's Quality and Regulatory group with global responsibilities. Prior to NNE Pharmaplan, Chris was part of the team at the FDA developing policies and systems for the Agency's science and risk-based approach to CGMP inspection and CMC application review, including ICH Quality guidelines and the FDA guidance on Process Validation. Preceding his tenure at the FDA, Chris' industry experience including being responsible for the development and manufacture of NCE and biotech products.

Chris holds a Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Science from the University of Tennessee, and a Baccalaureate in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University.
