Darren Bauer Thermo Fisher Scientific

Darren Bauer is a Staff Scientist in Field Applications with the Pharma Analytics business at Thermo Fisher Scientific. In this role, Darren is responsible for providing technical support, from training to implementation and validation of contaminant and impurity testing solutions, utilizing real-time PCR and DNA Sequencing technologies. Before joining Thermo Fisher Scientific, Darren was a QC Scientist in the Microbiology group at Pfizer and worked at multiple biotech startups. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Missouri and attended graduate school at the University of New Hampshire, where he focused on Evolutionary and Ecological Functional Genomics, as part of an international consortium that sequenced the first crustacean genome.
