Duncan Ross Lonza Biologics

Duncan Ross has over 20 years of experience in the Biologics industry, including bulk drug substance and drug product manufacturing. He has focused most of his career on QC Microbiology, Environmental Monitoring, and Microbial Contamination Control, but has also driven continuous improvement initiatives using his Lean 6-sigma Green Belt certification. He has extensive experience defending non-sterile bioburden control strategies to multinational regulatory agencies. Complex root cause analysis and creation of risk assessments with cross functional teams are strengths of his. He graduated with a BS in Microbiology from the University of New Hampshire. The majority of his career has been in the CMO space with Lonza Biologics and Lonza Cell & Gene therapy, as well as being a contractor with Verista, giving him exposure across a broad spectrum of customer processes and technologies.
