Gordon Muirhead, PhD GSK

Gordon is a Pharmacist and has worked in the Pharmaceutical Industry for 28 years, split between a variety of Manufacturing Management positions (from Development Pharmacist through to being the General Manager of multiple sites) and R&D where he worked in Clinical Trials, Product Development and started the GSK Global Process Technologies Team to advance Process Analytical Technologies (PAT) and Quality by Design (QbD) within the company. Gordon is now back in the Global Manufacturing and Supply network of GSK, where he is currently Vice President of New Product Introduction for Oral Solid Dosage Forms.

He is the proud grandfather of two grand-daughters; Abbie (9) and Lily (6) and learns from them both... all the time.

An ex-professional musician, Gordon still believes he can become a famous Rock Star and has a Recording Studio a bank of guitars ready for that big break!
