Graham Jones is Head of Connected Health Research and Innovation at Novartis Pharmaceuticals based at East Hanover NJ. A native of the UK, following his PhD in organic chemistry from Imperial College London, Graham moved to Harvard University as a NATO fellow with Nobelist EJ Corey then began an independent academic career which spanned two decades. Graham has authored over 175 publications in drug development, drug delivery and digital health and attracted $100M+ in research funding. These research works have been cited over 10,000 times and he has mentored over 150 research scientists. He has also served as founder and scientific advisor to several startup companies including Auspex Pharma which was acquired by Teva in 2015 for $3.5 Billion. Graham joined Novartis in 2018 from Tufts University where he was Professor of Medicine and Director of Translational Research at the Clinical and Translational Science Institute.  Graham established their innovation program in biomarkers, sensors and connected devices, and now serves on their external advisory board and is an adjunct Professor of Medicine.
