Houman Dehghani PhD Cabaletta Bio

Houman has 20+ years of experience in biologics process development. He started his industry career at Amgen, focusing on characterization, manufacturing process operations for adventitious agent clearance, contamination control strategies, and the development of new technologies for the detection of adventitious agent contaminants. Houman joined Allogene Therapeutics in 2018 and had an increasing scope of responsibilities, including drug substance/drug product process development, viral vector process development, and end-to-end adventitious agent safety for the allogeneic cell therapy platform. During his tenure at Allogene, he helped advance allogeneic CART products from early development to pivotal. Houman joined Cabaletta Bio in October of 2023, leading the Technical Development team (PD, AD, and MSAT). He is focused on advancing CART candidates and technology development/implementation.
