Jeffrey N. Levy, Ph.D. is Vice President of Technical Services/Manufacturing Science at Eli Lilly and Company.  In this role, Jeff provides leadership to Lilly’s Global Technical Services organization.  The organization is responsible for scientific stewardship for products manufactured at all Lilly sites, as well as products manufactured for Lilly at Contract Manufacturers.  Technical Services plays a key role in various manufacturing activities such as installation of new processes, process and cleaning validation, ensuring process capability, developing and implementing process improvements, and developing operational control strategies and monitoring plans.  

Jeff received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from the University of Southern California in 1983, and received a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, also from USC, in 1987.  Jeff joined Eli Lilly and Company in 1989 after serving as a Postdoctoral Fellow with the University of California University-wide Task Force on AIDS.  Prior to his current assignment, Jeff has held multiple positions at Lilly in the areas of Chemical Process Development, Technical Services, and Quality Assurance.
