Joleen S. Simpson, MS Eli Lilly and Company

Joleen Su Simpson is a Principal Biologist with Eli Lilly and Company. She graduated from the University of Illinois in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and from Northwestern University in 2014 with a Master of Science in Biotechnology. In her current role, she works in the virology and purification development group, and has been a member of this department since 2016. She has been responsible for cell bank testing and viral clearance studies to support manufacturing. Ms. Simpson has over 8 years of industry experience, working in various aspects of viral research, viral safety, and quality control.
