Kim Bowers Pfizer

Kim Bowers has worked for Pfizer, formerly Wyeth, for almost 14 years, starting out in the QC Microbiology lab and moving to the validation/new technology group.  She now manages a group of microbiologists working on multiple projects in support of mammalian and bacterial manufacturing operations and the QC Microbiology laboratory.  The group supports a variety of technologies, including new instrument evaluations and implementation, molecular methods, and rapid micro methods, as well as traditional microbiological methods.  Prior to working at Pfizer, Kim held several positions within the biotechnology industry, mostly involved with cell culture and viral clearance studies and validations.
