Lana Shiu, MD Food and Drug Administration

Dr. Shiu started her career in the FDA as a lead reviewer of neurological devices after graduating from engineering school in 1993.  She left to go to medical school in 1994 on a Navy Scholarship and graduated from George Washington University with her MD in 1998.  She is a board certified Internist and returned to work for CDRH/ FDA in 2006.  She later joined Office of Combination Product in 2009 and then returned to CDRH to streamline combination product device reviews in 2012.
