Lenore Norling Genentech

Lenore Norling is a Senior Manager in the Process Virology group at Genentech. She is responsible for viral clearance validation studies in support of regulatory filings for CHO derived products. She has authored numerous virus clearance sections for both clinical and marketed products. She has been with Genentech for more than 25 years.

More recently, she has worked on the implementation of an alternative eco-friendly detergent as a dedicated virus clearance step in the purification platform process. Previously, she was part of the QC Bioassay group of Genentech developing viral screening assays. She obtained a B.S.degree in Food Science and Technology (Major: Food Microbiology) from the University of the Philippines.
