Louis Masi FloDesign Sonics, Inc.

Mr. Masi has been with FloDesign Sonics (FDS) since 2010, originally as the founding CEO until 2014, and currently the Executive Vice President in leading New Market Development. Following the June 2015 announcement of Danaher/Pall Corporation purchasing an exclusive license to FDS' Acoustic Wave Separation Technology for biopharm applications, where the cell is producing the drug, Mr. Masi has been interacting with corporations and universities in FDS' rapid expansion into non-licensed cell processing, sort/selection, harvesting, and washing applications within cell therapy pipelines. Most recently he managed the segmenting of FDS into "Next" responsibilities for cell processing enabling tools. Today, Mr. Masi leads the FDS team in the further expansion their acoustic force field platform as broad based alternates to TFF and fluidized bed centrifugation that function within Cell expansion, cell selection, Carrier removal, Cell washing and concentration.
