Mariana Brena MS Cambrex

Mariana Brena is the Microbiology Manager at Cambrex, where she oversees the group responsible for performing contract microbiology testing on pharmaceutical products and medical devices. At Cambrex, she started as an analyst before joining the leadership team. Prior to working at Cambrex, she worked in a research lab at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where she obtained her Master's Degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology. She enjoys the challenge of working in a contract testing lab and has presented a webinar on microbial identification trending for environmental monitoring of classified areas.
