Mark Smith, PhD Pfizer Global Supply

Mark is a Senior Manager at Pfizer in the Process Analytical Sciences Group.  He is also the current chair of the Pfizer Lyo Network PAT team.  He has responsibilities for the strategic and practical deployment of PAT across all Bio drug product sites.  This ranges from incoming raw materials, throughout the manufacturing process to final inspection and product release. 

Mark has a BSc. in Forensic and Analytical Chemistry from Strathclyde University and a Ph.D. from the University of London, with a focus on advanced chemometrics and spectroscopy for pharmaceutical applications.
