Dr. Jenkins received his PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Arizona in Tucson where he worked in the Laboratory of David Mount and published numerous papers on UV damage and DNA repair mechanisms in plants. After doing a post-doc at University of Arizona, he joined CropTech Corporation, where he worked in various roles including project managerment and leadership and business development. He has been with the Catalent since February 2003 serving in various roles including: Director of Business Development and Commercial Operations, VP of Business Development and is currently the General Manager of Catalent’s new Biologics Center of Excellence in Madison, WI.

Dr, Jenkins brings over twenty years of expertise in the areas including; traditional and transgenic biologics manufacturing platforms, biosimilar protein development as well as the evaluation and establishment of novel technologies in the biotechnology marketplace. Dr. Jenkins has been invited to share a General Manager’s perspective in transitioning between traditional manufacturing technology and single use biomamanufacturing technologies at several conferences including: Bioprocessing Systems Alliance Summit, Disposable Solutions for BioManufacturing and IBC’s Bioprocess International conference.
