Nazeli Dertsakianis Genentech Oceanside Biologics Operations

Nazeli Dertsakianis currently the General Manager, Vice President at Genentech Oceanside Biologics Operations. She joined Genentech in early 2015, and since then has become an active member in the local community, sponsoring STEM education programs, volunteering at charitable organizations, and serving on board of directors at Biocom, Oceanside Chamber of Commerce, and Oceanside Museum of Art.

Nazeli is an accomplished executive leader with over 20 years in the pharmaceutical. Manufacturing/Biotechnology Industry. She has managed a broad range of operations, including Quality Control, Manufacturing Operations, MSAT - Technical Project Delivery and New Product Commercialization, Supply Chain, and Operational Excellence. Nazeli has a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Saint Mary’s College and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Biological Sciences and Microbiology and is also a Lean Six Sigma certified black belt.

Nazeli lives in North County (Carlsbad) with her family, and enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, daughter, and chocolate lab.
