Nitish Kumar Merck

Nitish Kumar is the Head of Customer Applications, Downstream Processing (India & Subcontinent) for Merck Life Sciences based out of Bangalore, India. Nitish supports technical consultation and delivers customer centric solutions for downstream processing for the India region. Previously he was working as Technology Manager providing consultative expertise for best practices, process development and scale up of biopharmaceutical applications to Biological manufacturers.

He holds a post Graduate degree in Biotechnology from S.P University and has rich experience in downstream processing. He has worked in the biopharmaceutical industry for over 12 years in a range of roles including managing bioprocesses for early and late phase clinical material.
