Mr. Vogel is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lachman Consultant Services, Inc., Westbury, NY, which is comprised of scientists and former industry and USFDA specialists that provide consulting services to >250 active clients worldwide representing a broad spectrum of the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, biologics and medical device industries.  Its Regulatory, Science & Technology, and Compliance consulting practices cover the full product life cycle, including development, regulatory approval, commercialization, and post-marketing surveillance. In addition to his leadership role at Lachman Consultants, Mr. Vogel works closely with clients, industry associations, FDA and other international regulatory authorities to assure a GxP-compliant global supply chain based on high-quality, safe and effective medical products. Prior to consulting, Mr. Vogel served the US FDA for 21 years, where he held various senior positions in the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, and was responsible for establishing regulatory requirements, industry guidance, compliance programs, and enforcement covering drug GMP, GLP, GCP, product quality, data integrity, BA/BE laboratories, preapproval inspections, pharmacovigilance, and drug labeling and marketing compliance.
