Renata Pocitarenco Janssen

Renata Pocitarenco is an Associate Scientist at Janssen, Switzerland. She received a B.Eng. and a M.Eng. in Chemical and Process Engineering from University of Padova, Italy, in 2019 and 2021 respectively, focusing on process systems engineering, chemometric, and statistical modelling. During her M.Eng., she spent three semesters abroad doing an Erasmus at the Otto Von Guericke Universität in Germany, an internship at Toyota Motor Europe in Belgium, and an internship at Janssen focusing on machine learning and simulations. She is passionate about mechanistic and data-driven modelling as tools to enhance and optimize pharmaceutical industrial processes
