Dr. Roman Goetzke-Braun, PhD, a Postdoc in Stem Cell Biology and a Senior Scientist at PL BioScience GmbH, is a distinguished expert in the field. He studied Biotechnology at RWTH Aachen University and completed his doctorate at the Department of Stem Cell Biology and Cellular Engineering at the Helmholtz Institute in Aachen from 2015 to 2019. During his PhD, Dr. Goetzke-Braun specialized in the interaction of induced pluripotent stem cells and mesenchymal stem cells with soft hydrogels, such as human platelet lysate gel. From 2019 to 2021, he pursued postdoctoral research focusing on the self-organization during the differentiation of pluripotent stem cells.
