Satya Makwana MS National Resilience

Satya Makwana has a Masters of Science degree in Microbiology from North Carolina State University where he conducted a genome sequence and comparative analysis on butanol tolerant Clostridium beijerinckii and has published his work in Microbiology (Reading). Satya has a wide range of experiences throughout his carreer. He initially worked in the fermentation group for Diosynth Biotechnologies (currently known as Fujifilm) performing upstream manufacturing of commerical and early phase pharmaceutical products. Following this step, he transitioned to a senior position in QC Microbiology with Medicago. In another career transition, he became the Deviation Management Lead for Merck where he conducted critical investigations regarding a product on market allocation. Satya Makwana currently works at National Resilience in the Quality Assurance organization. He has 15 years of experience in microbiology and the pharmaceutical industry. He has been involved with the contamination control strategy at National Resilience and is an asset to the the Quality Control organization with regard to microbiology and bioassays.
