Stefan Appel Amazon Web Services

Stefan is seasoned technologist and currently holds a Senior Solutions Architect position at Amazon Web Services (AWS).

He is passionate about supporting global healthcare and life sciences companies adopting cloud technologies. Prior to joining AWS, Stefan drove cloud and IoT topics in software architecture, product management, and IT operations departments.

He began his career in research on event-based systems and holds a PhD in computer science. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking and has walked the length of New Zealand following Te Araroa.
