Thomas Frank Refolution Industriekälte GmbH

Thomas Frank is a chemical engineer (Dipl. Ing.) and certificated senior project manager (IPMA level B) with demonstrating experience and network in the field of refrigeration. For over 10 years, he has been working in different fields of industrial refrigeration from process cooling for chemical plants to food storage and environmental simulation.

Since 2019, he owns Refolution, an engineering office that is using deep knowledge of refrigeration and analytic process understanding to develop new processes in different fields.

In 2019, Thomas and colleagues from HOF Sonderanlagenbau developed a new process doing dry freezing with only air as a refrigerant. He also supported GEA with their new dry freezing process using a combination of air and CO2 refrigeration.
