Tongtong Wang, PhD Eli Lily & Company

Dr. Wang received her B. Sc. from University of Science and Technology of China. She obtained a doctorate in Molecular Biology from Syracuse University and completed her postdoctoral training in cell biology and genetics at Cornell University. Dr. Wang joined Eli Lilly in 2005 and served several scientific and managerial roles in bioproduct development organization. Currently, Dr. Wang is responsible for bioprocess R&D and API manufacturing in support of clinical trials.

Prior to joining Lilly, Dr. Wang was responsible for molecular biology, fermentation, cell culture, and adenoviral development in support of therapeutic antibody and cancer vaccine platforms at Corixa Corporation. Dr. Wang's earlier years at Corixa focused on cancer antigen discovery and she holds numerous patents on the composition and method of use for these cancer antigens.
