Valerie Brown Gilead Sciences, Inc.

Valerie Brown was most recently Senior Vice President, Quality Assurance in Pharmaceutical Development and Manufacturing at Gilead Sciences, Inc. She led a global team responsible for quality and compliance oversight of contract manufacturers producing active pharmaceutical ingredients, drug product intermediates, oral solid dosage forms, parenterals, biologics and medical devices for worldwide development and commercial markets.

She joined Gilead in 2010 and took on roles of increasing responsibility and was elevated to her current role as Senior Vice President, Global Quality Assurance in 2020. Prior to joining Gilead, Valerie was Global Director of Quality and Regulatory for ZaCh Systems and PPG Industries. She is a member of the Parenteral Drug Association and the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineering.

Valerie holds an undergraduate degree in biology and chemistry and a graduate degree in Healthcare Management.
