ACIC Machinery
My journey with PDA began when my manager invited me to join him at the 2022 PDA Annual Meeting, representing ACIC Machinery, the company where I work. At the time, I was balancing full-time work in business development with part-time studies in manufacturing engineering at McMaster University.
One particular encounter stands out: during the conference, I was introduced to Tita Tavares, a seasoned industry expert, who invited me to join the newly formed Global Pharmaceutical Student (GPS) Network. Joining GPS as a volunteer was a defining moment for my involvement with the PDA organization.
Then, I had the opportunity to join the PDA Canada Chapter as a committee member, allowing me to actively engage with local events and members.
Through PDA, I've not only expanded my knowledge but also contributed to initiatives promoting excellence in the pharmaceutical industry. Whether organizing events with the local PDA Canada Chapter or participating in global workshops for students, each experience has been valuable and uplifting.
I am deeply inspired by the dedication of the PDA community to advancing science and regulation.
I am very grateful and happy to receive the PDA Outstanding Early Career Professional Award.
