2021 PDA Honor Awards: Honorary Membership

In this final installment of the PDA Letter's series featuring the winners of the 2021 Honor Awards, which were presented at the Honor Awards Ceremony at the 2022 PDA Annual Meeting, we recognize the winner of Honorary Membership. PDA thanks all of the recipients for their contributions to the Association. We also want to thank all of our volunteers and contributors. Without all of you, PDA could not function.

Honorary Membership

PDA's most prestigious award, conferring lifetime membership benefits to the recipient. The award is given in recognition of very long service, of a very significant nature, to PDA.

Steven Mendivil

 

Steven Mendivil is currently Senior Advisor Amgen Quality under contract since 2015. Prior to that, he had been with Amgen for 20 years and retired leading the Quality External Affairs group. He served 8 years on PDA’s Board of Directors, was Chair of the RAQAB, Chair of PDA’s Quality Metrics and Culture Task force, member on BioAB and PDA / FDA Annual Conference committee and a variety of other committees. In addition to his work with PDA, Steve was on the ICH Q11 Expert Working Group and the ICH Q7 Implementation Working Group representing the pharmaceutical industry.
