In Memoriam: John Peter “Jack” Lysfjord

A small tea light candle lit in a dark space with In Memoriam text floating over itThe PDA community lost a longtime contributor and member Jack Lysfjord. Throughout Jack’s long career, which included 26 years with TL Systems/Bosch Pharmaceutical Packaging, spent most his time advancing aseptic processing equipment for injectable drugs. Among the many associations Jack kept, he was active with PDA, ISPE, AAPS, R3 Nordic, and many others.

Jack published two books with PDA/DHI, Practical Aseptic Processing Fill and Finish, Vol. 1 & 2, which can be purchased as a bundle for 50% off for the remainder of this year.

A scholarship for students, recent graduates, and emerging leaders pursuing careers in aseptic processing and sterile product manufacturing has been launched in his honor on GoFundMe. (Note: This scholarship is not affiliated with PDA or the PDA Foundation.)
