NEPDA Awards Its 2021 Scholarships

It is with great pleasure that the NEPDA Scholarship Committee announces its 2021 scholarship winners.

Audrey Kaddu, Susan Gamboa and Gabriela Peroco together received $11,000 in total awards:

$5,000 transfer scholarships to recent Middlesex Community College graduates Kaddu and Gamboa, who are currently seeking bachelor’s degrees from Northeastern University
$1,000 second-year scholarship to Peroco

All three winners are active participants in the NEPDA Chapter and have met stringent criteria for excellence in academics and leadership at Middlesex Community College. Among their many accomplishments, all three served as Biotech Navigators for a new Biotech Exploration Weekend course, where they assisted novices in biotechnology experiments and activities.

About the Committee

The NEPDA Scholarship Committee comprises chapter member industry and education professionals dedicated to enabling students who are interested in pursuing careers in the life sciences. The committee awards scholarships annually to deserving biotechnology students at Middlesex Community College who are active members of the NEPDA student chapter. In partnership with our generous sponsors, NEPDA has awarded $101,000 in scholarships since 2009.
