Early Career Professionals

The purpose of the ECP Interest Group (IG) is to support individuals who have recently entered the pharmaceutical industry and are considering a career in pharma or seek to advance their careers in the life sciences. The group bring together early career professionals to openly discuss their issues and concerns, and empower them with confidence by providing resources, networking opportunities, and professional development tailored to their unique challenges and aspirations. This IG Facilitates mentorship and knowledge-sharing between industry experts and newcomers; offers educational programs focused on technical skills and career advancement, fosters a collaborative community that encourages innovation, leadership, and growth and advocates for the needs and perspectives of early career professionals within the broader pharmaceutical manufacturing community. Members have the unique opportunity to expand their networks, gain industry knowledge and skills, build careers, enjoy exclusive member benefits, be a part of a supportive community and contribute meaningfully to the future of the life sciences industry. This group and all other PDA Interest Groups are designed to spark information exchange, actionable solutions and networking among peers who have shared challenges and interests.

• The Interest Group LinkedIn Group (launching 5 April) is open to anyone interested in the topics and provides an online venue to meet experts and to engage in group discussions and learn about valuable PDA resources.
• Virtual and in-person meetings are scheduled throughout the year. Virtual meetings are exclusively for active PDA members. In-person meetings, often held in conjunction with PDA’s signature conferences, are open to any conference attendee.
