Pharmacopeial Interest Group

The purpose of the Pharmacopeial Interest Group (IG) is to serve as the liaison between PDA’s technical advisory boards and the Pharmacopeias. The group brings together professionals to openly discuss their issues and concerns, lessons learned, and best practices related to the major pharmacopoeias of the world (e.g., USP, Ph. Eur., Japan Pharmacopeia, India Pharmacopeia, China Pharmacopeia, Brazil Pharmacopeia and the International Pharmacopeia (World Health Organization). This group and all other PDA Interest Groups are designed to spark information exchange, actionable solutions and networking among peers who have shared challenges and interests.

• The Interest Group LinkedIn Group is open to anyone interested in the topics and provides an online venue to meet experts and to engage in group discussions and learn about valuable PDA resources. Click the “Follow Discussion” button below and request to join.


• Virtual and in-person meetings are scheduled throughout the year. Virtual meetings are exclusively for active PDA members. In-person meetings, often held in conjunction with PDA’s signature conferences, are open to any conference attendee.
