Iain Simpson Phillips Medisize

Iain is Director in the Global Pharma Segment Team at Phillips-Medisize, and part of a global team developing and manufacturing industry leading solutions and platforms for drug delivery, digital medicine and connected health. He has more than 35-years’ experience in multi-disciplinary technology and product development; the last 25 years have in healthcare and increasingly focused on the use of devices and digital technologies to support better therapeutic delivery, create product differentiation, improve patient engagement and better measure clinical outcomes in the real world. He has a degree and PhD in Physics, both from University College London and an MBA in Technology Management from the Open University. He has published and presented at conferences on drug delivery, digital biomarkers, healthcare technology and technology licensing. He is an associate lecturer in drug delivery at the University of Cambridge.
