Bjoern Hansmann received his doctoral degree in Chemistry from the university of Göttingen and started his professional career in synthetic polymer business. Soon, he accepted a position at Sartorius where he focused on surface modification and virus filtration. He has been involved in leading positions with Sartorius during all developments in the field of virus filtration since 2010, covering virus filter membrane development and the application of the filters.
