Christopher Timmons, PhD Corning

Chris is a Development Associate in the Pharmaceutical Technologies division of Corning Incorporated in Corning, NY. In this role, he focuses on parenteral container design, manufacture and performance.

Chris has over 12 years of experience in new product and process development at Corning, with expertise in surface characterization, chemical processing and development, new process integration and scale-up, and product development for life science technologies. He has led innovations teams focused on the development of bioactive surfaces, design of label-free microplate formats, and delivery of chemical processes to manufacturing.

Chris holds a B.S. and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech and Georgia Institute of Technology, respectively.
