Dirk Leutner EDQM, Council of Europe

Dirk Leutner is head of the Pharmaceutical Technology Section in the European Pharmacopoeia Department of the EDQM. He is pharmacist with a PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology and past experience in the generic industry (development, head of production). He is supporting the activities of the European Paediatric Formulary since 2014 and further responsible for dosage form monographs with related test method, excipients, packaging materials and process analytical technology within the European Pharmacopoeia. He is also involved in PDG harmonisation of pharmacopoeial texts with USP and JP.
