Eda Ross-Montgomery, PhD Shire Pharmaceuticals

Eda Ross Montgomery, Ph. D. is currently Senior Director/Technical Steward, Global Technical Operations, Shire Pharmaceuticals where she is responsible for continuous improvement of Shire's commercial products. She was previously Senior Director, Quality: CMC and QbD at Vertex, where she was responsible for the implementation of Quality by Design for commercial manufacturing with Vertex's contact manufacturing organizations. Eda has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. She obtained her B.S. in Chemistry from Rensselear Polytechnic Institute and Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from U of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
