Hans Vanderwegen has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and has been working with several companies on global level in US and Europe. He has deep business and technology expertise in pharmaceutical manufacturing, supply chain and development.

He is currently active as Managing Director of 4XScience, a management-consulting firm with the mission to improve product integrity across global supply chains by leveraging business, technology and regulatory know-how.

Through his career, Hans has built experience from working with Johnson&Johnson, Janssen Pharmaceutica, GSK, Novartis, Merck, Solvay, BMS and UCB.

Hans is up to date on all serialization industry trends, regulations and vendors. He has conducted projects at large top pharmaceutical companies, but also at mid sized companies. Services range from strategy work to line implementations.
