Marc Egen PhD Boehringer Ingelheim Pharma GmbH & Co KG

Dr. Marc Egen is currently heading a Pharmaceutical Development group and accounts for all Parenteral Primary Packaging Development at Human Pharma at Boehringer Ingelheim. He is a polymer chemist by training and joined Boehringer Ingelheim more than 20 years ago. He was working in various positions at the interface between Pharmaceutical Development and Operations. Dealing mostly with pharmaceutical technology, manufacturing, and packaging processes, he gained experience in inhalation drug product development, solids manufacturing, launches and transfers, supplier management and solids and parenteral packaging development.
