Maria Sanchez Cordis Corporation

Ms. Sanchez has been with Cordis Corporation since 2007 in the Complaint Handling & Safety Surveillance department responsible for providing clinical guidance and ensuring correct coding and regulatory reporting of malfunctions and adverse events for combination products including CYPHER drug eluting coronary stent. Prior to joining Cordis and Johnson & Johnson, Ms. Sanchez had over 18 years of nursing experience in hospitals as well as clinical and marketing experience in medical device companies such as Steris Corporation and GE Medical Systems. Today, Ms. Sanchez leads the Product Safety, Complaint Handling, Risk Management, Product Escalation, and Epidemiology functions at Cordis Corporation.
