Martin is CEO of the engineering service pinPlus ag, which he founded in 2004. He is a Structural analyst, often working on nonlinear analysis with different material models for
pharmaceutical, medical, consumer or automotive industry, such as rubber, TPE, silicone, general thermoplasts, reinforced plastics with consideration of anisotropic mechanical properties due to glass fibers. From 1995 – 2004 Martin was professor for strength of materials and finite element simulation at the University of applied science in Bern and analyst and project leader for engineering and consulting projects of Intec (Technology Institute of the University of applied science, Bern)
